Dedicated Cub Master Ramesh Kumar Modi to receive Medal of Merit for his outstanding services in the field of Scouting and Guiding; Governor to present the award

Bikaner, February 4: Ramesh Kumar Modi, a dedicated training counselor and Cub Master who has been serving in the Scout movement for over 52 years, will be awarded the Medal of Merit. This award is being given to Mr. Modi for his remarkable service in the field of Scouting. The award will be presented to him by His Excellency the Governor at a ceremony in Jaipur on February 11th. It is noteworthy that Ramesh Kumar Modi has previously received several long-service awards. He received the President’s Rover Award, the highest honor in Scouting, in 1989. He was first honored with the First Class Scout Badge (President’s Scout Badge) in 1979. Modi has also received numerous prestigious awards and honors in the fields of education and social service.

(Guide) Meenakshi Bhati, Assistant state Commissioner (Scout) Rajendra Joshi, Former Divisional Secretary Devanand Purohit, L. A. Secretary of Bikaner Bhuvaneswar Sadh and Prabhu Dayal Gahlot, State Coordinator of PEIPA Giriraj Kheriwal, Rajesh Ranga and Ghanshyam Sadh of Karuna International, Hanuman Chimpa, senior journalists Bhawani Shankar Joshi, Devanand Purohit, , and many others have expressed their heartfelt happiness and congratulated Modi. It is worth mentioning that Mr. Modi’s late father, Sitaram Modi, was also a Cub Master, while his mother was a Himalaya Wood Badge holder. His elder brother Bhagatram Modi, younger brother Madanmohan Modi, and his son Saurabh have also been honored with the President’s Award in the field of Scouting.
